Berry Street Education Model

Positive engagement of all students, including those with complex and/or unmet learning needs, underpins everything we do at Beldon Education Support Centre. This year we have embarked on a whole school approach to supporting students’ self-regulation, relationships and wellbeing through the Berry Street Education Model. All our staff are receiving extensive ongoing training to use research based strategies to increase student engagement and significantly improve academic achievement. The Berry Street Education Model uses a trauma-informed education approach that empowers every student to be ready to learn and able to thrive.
