Beldon Education Support Centre and Beldon Primary School are fortunate to have a chaplain onsite 4 days per week. Since 2013, Jodi Ingham has filled this role and it's fair to say, the contribution she makes to both schools is invaluable. With the support of YouthCARE, Jodi's role is to focus on the wellbeing of those in the school community. Individual student participation with the School Chaplain is voluntary.

Meet Our Chaplain
Hi, I'm Jodi and I am privileged to be the Chaplain at both Beldon ESC and Beldon PS.
School Chaplains offer support and care across the whole school community – students, parents and staff. My goal is to provide a listening ear and a caring presence, whether it be when assisting in a classroom, reinforcing positive friendship skills out in the playground or chatting with staff in the staffroom. I attend various excursions, offering practical help and checking in on support needs. You will probably see me around the place before or after school or at special events that your children may be a part of.
You may even see me around locally too as I live in the area. I am married to a great man and together we have 3 gorgeous girls. I have a background in community youth work and education program planning, and have worked with local youth training programs with whom I have been lucky enough to travel internationally with for special projects and training.
I feel warmly welcomed by the students at Beldon with their beautiful smiles, enthusiastic waves and happy hello's to me. It is definitely a privilege to be a part of the Beldon community!
If you have any requests for individual support for your child, please direct these to your child’s classroom teacher and they will connect with me as needed.
